If you've been reading my emails from this past week, then you know I am currently obsessed with the Incarnation Cross in Human Design

It is something that has always fascinated me about the system, especially since there are over 700 different combinations

Which is what makes Human Design so special, unique, and deeply specific in the first place

There are three different types of Incarnation Crosses, and each one tells you, in general, about your destiny 

As we talked about in my last email, it corresponds to your profile (the second number in those top four boxes of your chart—your conscious and unconscious Sun and Earth).

Your Incarnation Cross type (angle) is made up of those four gates in your chart. Let’s break it down:

🌟 Juxtaposition Cross
This is super rare—only tied to the 4/1 profile, which is about 3% of the population. If you’re a 4/1, you’re here with a fixed fate. Your purpose is like a train on its tracks—you can’t get off it, and neither can the people deeply connected with you. You also serve as a bridge between the other two types of crosses.

🌟 Left Angle Cross
This is a transpersonal destiny. It shows up in profiles like 6/2, 6/3, 5/1, or 5/2. Your purpose is bigger than just you—it’s woven through the people who come in and out of your life, often linked with past-life karma. You’re not meant to fulfill your purpose alone—you need others to help you remember and stay aligned.

🌟 Right Angle Cross
This is the most common type, and it’s all about a personal destiny. Your purpose is to work out your own life path, follow your strategy and authority, and lean into self-exploration. It’s about facing your own challenges, creating karma, and fully living your journey—not being pulled off course by others. (Profiles 1/3, 1/4, 2/4, 2/5, 3/5, 3/6, and 4/6 will have this type of Incarnation Cross)

Here's what it looks like when you pull up your chart from my website. You'll see this one says "Right Angle Cross". Because this person is a 1/3 profile.
